2012 Purdue Veterinary Medicine Fall Conference and Homecoming Week in Review
The Purdue Veterinary Medicine 2012 Fall Conference for Veterinarians and Veterinary Technicians set a new record as attendees, including many PVM alumni, came back to the Purdue campus for a week that offered a unique combination of continuing education and homecoming-style special events. This web-site recaps highlights from the week, and includes photos and links to videos. Beginning with a golf outing on Tuesday, September 18, and concluding with the Dr. Skip Jackson Dog Jog on Saturday, September 22, this week had something for everyone. Attendees could choose from 120 CE sessions given by 55 speakers, including Dr. Mike Cranfield, who spoke on the Mountain Gorilla Veterinary Project. Evening special events included presentation of the Distinguished Alumni Awards, class reunion recognition and the annual Fall Auction.
