Welcome to the Purdue Veterinary Conference 2015!
September 8 - 12, 2015
Please join us for the Purdue Veterinary Conference 2015. The annual conference is designed to provide Continuing Education (CE) opportunities for the entire veterinary team. Content will include; NEW Aquatic Animal Track, Bovine, Small Animal, Food Animal, Equine, Topics of Interest for Veterinary Technicians, Professional Development, and Shelter Medicine. All conference sessions and special events will be held on Purdue’s campus locations in West Lafayette, IN. You won’t want to miss anything, so be sure to explore all the conference has to offer.
The 2015 conference will offer new speakers, workshops and special events including a celebration for the 50th Anniversary Class – Class of 1965. Graduates of the classes of 1970, 1975, 1980, 1985, 1990, 1995, 2000, 2005, 2010 are also celebrating reunion years. A reminder that the Awards Celebration will be held on Wednesday evening, September 9 and Meet Me @ the Mixer will be held on Thursday evening, September 10th. The Mixer will include recognition of both Veterinary Technology and DVM reunion classes.

VPMP Open House
VPMP and the Purdue Veterinary Conference are joining forces! The Human Resource Management module will start duing the Conference. Developed by Purdue's Krannert School of Management and College of Veterinary Medicine, the Veterinary Practice Management Program (VPMP) combines more than 25 years of management experience specifically tailored to veterinary practice. It is an intensive, four-module program offering hands-on, graduate-level instruction, and networking for the whole veterinary team. Want to learn more about this exciting program? IAHF/PVM Golf Outing - New Day! New Time!
Join us for a fun and exciting round of golf at the Purdue Veterinary Conference! This year's golf outing will be held at the Purdue Kampen Course on Friday, September 11th and is coordinated by the Indiana Animal Health Foundation and Purdue Veterinary Medicine. All funds raised will be used for scholarships and the support of student activities. Click here for registration.
Dr. Skip Jackson Dog Jog
The student-run Dog Jog is a 5K and 10K run/walk, sponsored by McAfee Animal Hospital and Blair Animal Clinic, that attracts faculty, staff, students, alumni, and their dogs. The race will begin at 8:00 a.m. from Lynn Hall and route through campus on Saturday, September 12, 2015, the conclusion of the Purdue Veterinary Conference week. All proceeds will go to the PetSafe Program, a community service offered by Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine to meet the short-term housing needs of pets whose owners are temporarily unable to provide care. Tailgate and Football Game
On Saturday September 12, 2015 the Purdue Boilermakers will be playing against the Indiana State Sycamores. Kickoff time TBA. A tailgate sponsored by Elanco and Patterson Veterinary supply, will begin three hours before kickoff.
