DOGS! Course Participant Referrals
We highly encourage veterinarians to make use of the knowledge and experience of those who have participated in Purdue University's DOGS! Course: Principles and Techniques of Behavior Modification. After your behavior consultation in which you diagnosed the problem and designed a treatment plan, you can refer your clients with problem dogs to DOGS! Course participants.

DOGS! Course participants received extensive training in the principles and techniques of behavior modification and information on running an effective puppy class. They can assist clients in implementing the behavior modification aspects of treatment that you prescribe, in the day-to-day training of problem dogs, and can educate owners about the principles of learning and training techniques.

We encourage you to employ DOGS! Course participants to offer puppy classes and training classes at your facility. We also encourage you to refer clients to DOGS! Course participants for obedience classes.
