UNESCO/UNITWIN Collaboration with universities in the Middle East
UNESCO/UNITWIN is a program that enhances collaboration between institutions
of higher learning in developing and developed countries. A UNESCO delegation
is visiting Purdue University on May 13, 1996 to discuss international cooperation
for improvement of science and engineering education through integration of
modern technologies and methodologies, including interactive computer assisted
education and distance learning. The delegation includes:

- Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Al-Naimi, President University of Qatar, Qatar.

- Prof. Dr. Hussein M. K. Mansour, Director, Information Center, Ain-Shams
University, Egypt.
- Prof. Dr. Mohamed Helmi Mahran, Director, Information Center, Suez Canal
University, Egypt.
- Dr. Ali Rashid Al-Noaimi, Vice President for Student Affairs, UAE University,
UAE.
- Dr. Mohamed El-Deek, UNESCO, Cairo office, Egypt.
