Clinical Chemistry Profiling

University Plaza Hotel 8:15 a.m. - 9:15 a.m. Hepatobiliary System Profiling 9:15 a.m. - 10:15 a.m. Renal System Profiling 10:15 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Break 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m. Exocrine Pancreas (Pancreatitis) Profiling 11:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. Electrolyte and Acid-Base Profiling 12:30 p.m. - 1:30 p.m. Lunch (Provided) 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Case Presentations 3:00 p.m. - 3:30 p.m. Break 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. Unknown cases – Interactive Discussions The day begins with overview lectures highlighting key principles and diagnostic approaches to biochemical profiling. Clinical cases are then presented so participants can test their interpretive skills. Video microscopy and/or Power Point visuals for selected cases will demonstrate morphologic correlates from blood smears, cytology and histopathology specimens. Participants will earn 7 hours of continuing education units.
