Tributes
“Veterinarians from the Class of 1972 conceived of and donated to create this garden to pay tribute to the impact on one’s life of the powerful bond we form with a special pet. For many of us, that bond inspired the decision to become a veterinarian. We wanted to celebrate the legacy of those pets in a visible way that could give solace to grieving pet owners and provide opportunities to positively impact animal healthcare by gifts to Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine in recognition of the pet that touched your heart and enriched your life.” - Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine
Class of 1972 “Words cannot describe how much we love Sunshine. We want her name and memory to last forever. That is why we wanted to honor Sunshine with the memorial plaque so everyone that reads it knows how much we love her and how much she means to us. We also want to thank the Purdue College of Veterinary Medicine Cardiology staff, especially Dr. Goodwin, for the enormous amount of great care and dedication that they provided to Sunshine.” - Brian and Lisa Yohler
