Training Opportunities
MIIT offers several training sessions and open labs for our faculty and staff in the Veterinary College. The sessions will cover a variety of topics as listed below.
Sessions and Open Labs will change regularly so check back here often for updates and additional training opportunities.
Prerequisites
Some sessions have prerequisites that are available from ITaP or MIIT. Open Labs correspond to ITaP or MIIT training sessions and allow use of the skills learned in the classroom. One or two PVM staff will be available to answer questions and, if there are similar questions, short ad-hoc training will be provided to the group.
Come prepared to work with your own courses during the Open Lab.

Open Labs
Open Labs are partnered with ITaP or MIIT classes. They are designed to provide more detailed instructions, additional training that is geared toward your specific needs, and hands-on time to apply skills that are learned in corresponding classes.
Cancellation
If there aren’t enough students registered for a class or open lab, it may be cancelled. Decisions will be made at least 24 hours in advance of the class. In the event of cancellation, MIIT will be in touch with you via email or phone.
If you have registered for a session and need to cancel, send an email to pam@purdue.edu. Include the name of the class, date and time.
