The College of Veterinary Medicine offers graduate training in biomedical sciences, veterinary and comparative medicine, and clinical research. The College has about 120 graduate students, 40% of whom are working towards a master’s degree and 60% towards a doctoral (PhD) degree. The College offers excellent training in clinical specialties, pathology and laboratory animal medicine through professional MS programs. Graduate students pursuing research careers find state-of-the art equipment and excellent facilities within the College and across the West Lafayette campus. The College’s outstanding faculty provide a stimulating and nurturing environment for training in biomedical research. The College has three departmental graduate programs and one joint graduate program with the Weldon School of Biomedical Engineering. In addition, faculty participate in campus-wide interdisciplinary programs such as the Purdue University Life Science (PULSe) program. |
