The SCAVMA Fundraiser is responsible for operating the SCAVMA store. The store sells Purdue veterinary medicine merchandise to help raise funds for SCAVMA. The SCAVMA fundraiser, chosen out of the first year class, takes over the store starting second semester and runs it for one year. The fundraiser is responsible for having the store open one day a week during lunch, filling and mailing web orders, keeping the store stocked, and the website updated. Along with these duties, the fundraiser must conduct a monthly inventory and deposit all money received for sales during that month. The fundraiser must work closely with the SCAVMA treasurer in keeping track of deposits, and ensuring that bills are paid for purchased merchandise. In addition the manager also attends SCAVMA executive board meetings to report any news and relay info to the board regarding the store.
