Purdue is home to the Xi Chapter of OMEGA TAU SIGMA, the national professional veterinary fraternity.  OMEGA TAU SIGMA is a social and service fraternity that provides ample opportunity for fun, service and access to the greater veterinary community extending beyond Purdue.

OMEGA TAU SIGMA members are active in the vet school community and the community at large.  Annual social activities include semester kick-off party for the men and women of the incoming class, football tailgates, a Halloween Costume Party, a Valentine’s Formal Dance, a barn dance and more. Annual service activities include blood drives, food drives and toy drives and fundraising efforts to benefit local groups as well as global organizations like Heifer International.

Annual membership dues include local and national dues.  Members are offered exclusive access to members-only events, discounted admission to events open to the entire student body and access to OMEGA TAU SIGMA events held at national meetings.  For more information about OMEGA TAU SIGMA, please contact Christopher Fulkerson, DVM 2010, at cfulkers@purdue.edu.

We look forward to meeting the Class of 2012 in the fall and hope you’ll join us for all the fun in the years to come!
