Do you love your pet but not its behavior? You are not alone! Behavior problems in pets are very, very common. Some common problems you may see in your dog, cat, or bird include aggression, fear, nervousness, excitability, and repetitive behavior. About 40 percent of all household pets have difficult, and sometimes dangerous, behavioral problems. Behavior problems are likely the main reason young, healthy animals are euthanized or pets are left at shelters.

The Purdue University Small Animal Community Practice provides veterinary care to pets of Tippecanoe county residents as well as faculty, staff and students of the Purdue University West Lafayette Campus.
