NOTE about required textbooks for small animal nursing courses: For the summer 2009 term, the 6th edition of the McCurnin & Bassert book is required and the 2nd edition of the Crow & Walshaw book is required. For the fall 2009 term, you can use either the 6th or the (new) 7th edition of the McCurnin & Bassert book and either the 2nd or the (new) 3rd edition of the Crow & Walshaw book. For those of you that will already have the 6th edition of the McCurnin & Bassert book and the 2nd edition of the Crow and Walshaw book from a previous semester, you can continue to use those editions in the fall 2009 semester. For new students purchasing these books for the first time for the fall 2009 semester, you should purchase the newest editions (7th ed. and 3rd. ed.) of these books.
