Saralyn Sharp, RVT with her five year old chocolate lab Ammie, who was rescued at 4 months of age and is completely blind due to a genetic abnormality. She also has a yellow lab, Diva, and three cats, Kishka, Nefret, and Amelia. Sara graduated as a registered veterinary technician from the Columbus State Community College in 1992, and received her BS degree in Zoology from Ohio State University in 1987. She worked at the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital for 10 years prior to coming to Purdue in 1999. Her interests include exotic pet wellness and dog rescue and she enjoys reading, gardening, and dog training.
