Saralyn Sharp, RVT

Sara graduated as a Registered Veterinary Technician from Columbus State Community College in 1992, and received her B.S. in zoology from Ohio State University in 1987. She worked at the OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital prior to coming to Purdue University. Sara and Cindy have lectured at the North American Veterinary Conference for the past 3 years on a variety of subjects. Sara also spoke for the Companion Animal Parasite Council at the American Animal Hospital Association Conference in 2010. She is a board member of the newly certified Academy of Veterinary Technicians in Clinical Practice.

Sara has a passion for positive training (i.e. clicker training) all animals – she has currently worked with dogs, cats, and horses, and exotic pet wellness and rescue. She currently resides with three dogs and six cats, but the numbers are subject to change at a moment’s notice.
