Your Animal's Admission

If your animal needs emergency care, please take your animal to your regular veterinarian for an initial assessment. Your regular veterinarian will contact the PU-VTH and speak to the emergency clinician on call to discuss their findings prior to emergency admission. Your regular veterinarian will then advise you on the cost estimate for work-up and treatment, prognosis and the time you should arrive at the PU-VTH. Please be ready to leave as soon as possible after your regular veterinarian has made the emergency call. The sooner you arrive, the sooner emergency care can be administered to your animal.

The most critical cases will be seen first.
