Research Areas in Human-Animal Interaction

The OHAIRE group is leading in several new areas of discovery related to human-animal interaction. Our current research focuses specifically on service dogs for Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Animal-Assisted Intervention for autism spectrum disorderanimal welfare, and facility dogs. We have also created informational materials to help support legitimate service dog and handler teams
