About Our Service
The Equine Community Practice provides veterinary care to equine owners who are residents of Tippecanoe County and surrounding areas as well as faculty, staff and students of the Purdue University West Lafayette Campus.
To schedule an appointment with Equine Community Practice, call the Large Animal Clinic at 765-494-8548. Appointments are scheduled 8am-5pm Monday thru Friday. After hours emergency calls are also answered 24 hours a day via the same number.

A Board Certified Theriogenologist, a Veterinary Practitioner-Boarded Clinician in Beef Production Medicine and 2 Registered Veterinary Technicians make up our team which provide practical on the farm training in Food Animal Medicine to Veterinary and Veterinary Technician students.

Purdue Swine Herd Health is dedicated to helping those in the swine industry reach their full potential. We offer production and health consulting and are certified for PQA Plus training. Our emphasis is on disease prevention and management through herd observations, diagnostics and record analysis.

Anesthesiology
The Anesthesia service offers 24 hour a day support to all patients requiring anesthesia and pain management at the Veterinary Teaching Hospital. Besides clinical teaching, our boarded anesthesiologists have special interests including veterinary anesthesia and pain management research, equine anesthetic recovery and anesthesia, and pain management with exotic animals.

The Animal Behavior Clinic is associated with the Center for the Human-Animal Bond. At the Animal Behavior Clinic, we use methods based on scientific principles to efficiently change troublesome animal behaviors.
