Collection Information

Submit isolate on original culture plate or transfer to TSA slant or equivalent.

Shipping Information

If shipping different tissue types, clearly label each container with owner and animal ID (if applicable) and sample/tissue type. Ship specimens overnight with an ice pack. DO NOT SHIP OVER WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY.

Additional Information

Only performed if certain resistance criteria are met on the MIC panel. Requests to add Fosfomycin Susceptibility testing must be received within 5 days of MIC panel report.
