Kamana is a master’s student in the Department of Comparative Pathobiology and holds a Bachelor of Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry (B.V.Sc. & A.H.) degree from Agriculture and Forestry University, Nepal. She joined the Rice Research Group in January 2025. Her research focuses on the screening and discovery of novel therapeutic compounds against free-living Acanthamoeba.
