This fee is a necropsy surcharge for disposal of the remains following a necropsy case that is not cremated. This applies to standard necropsies, legal necropsies, backyard poultry necropsies, and necropsy abortion panels. Large animal species that have undergone a necropsy are not eligible for whole-body cremation. Owners may elect to have the head, heart, and hooves cremated of their large animal. In cases of head, heart, and hooves only cremation, the case will be charged for cremation and necropsy disposal.The fee is set by weight.
