This fee is a necropsy surcharge for disposal of the remains following a necropsy case that is not cremated. This applies to standard necropsies, legal necropsies, backyard poultry necropsies, and necropsy abortion panels. Large animal species that have undergone a necropsy are not eligible for whole-body cremation. Owners may elect to have the head, heart, and hooves cremated of their large animal.
