Three operating rooms and a standing surgery room are situated adjacent to the anesthesia prep room and are equipped with a hoist to facilitate patient movement. The surgery ward has a treatment room, 12 standard stalls, three mare & foal stalls, one stallion stall and one downer stall, which also are equipped with a hoist for patient movement and care. The surgery student rounds room is adjacent to ICU.
