The Emergency Service is open to pets that need emergency care in Tippecanoe County and the surrounding counties. The new Small Animal Hospital facility features a greatly expanded emergency department with a separate entrance and reception area that serves emergency needs 24 hours, every day of the year. There are 5 exam rooms, and after-hours security is provided by a set of locked doors preventing access to the main hospital.
The emergency department has a spacious triage and treatment area, with adjacent rooms for separate canine and feline holding, a procedures room, a blood collection and blood bank room, and a student rounds room.
