Collection Information
GENERAL - Label all containers with appropriate information - Animal ID, Owner Name, Veterinarian, Sample Type, Date. The entire femur or rib bone must be submitted in order for accurate bone density determination.
Shipping Information
PAPERWORK - Package paperwork separately in a waterproof, sealable plastic bag. Ensure paperwork is complete and specimens are labeled for easy matching. If you are using CF.755 Multiple Animal Continuation Form, please include a hard copy and email a copy to addl@purdue.edu. Ship specimens overnight with an ice pack. DO NOT SHIP OVER WEEKEND OR HOLIDAY.

Please contact the lab for additional information or if you would like for the ADDL to subcontract the test for you while it is currently unavailable.This screen includes calcium, percent ash, and phosphorus. This screen replaces individual element testing.
