Design and Statistics
Epidemiologists in the College of Veterinary Medicine (Dr. Moore ) may be available for consultation on the design and the statistical analysis of animal studies. Our statistical support group can assist with sample size calculation and/or statistical methods in grant proposal, study/experimental design, data analysis, interpretation of data analysis, assist in manuscript writing of statistical methods and results, and assist with response to reviewers on statistical methods and results. Currently, there is no charge, but inclusion in grant proposals and publications is encouraged. The Department of Statistics in Purdue’s College of Science also has a consultation service. This service provides statistical software and design consultation for Purdue faculty, students, and staff free of charge.
