The Neurology and Physical Rehabilitation services have a treatment room with an adjacent exam room and a day holding area. The physical rehabilitation room has an underwater treadmill, an in-ground therapy pool, and plenty of room for physical therapy exercises. There is an adjacent acupuncture room.
Between the Neurology/Physical Rehabilitation treatment room and the orthopedic and soft tissue surgery treatment rooms, there is a gait analysis corridor for lameness examinations. This floor area is used for the examination of dogs for lameness or neurological abnormalities, such as a vertebral disc injury. The special non-slick flooring provides the appropriate surface for these examinations.
